Easter 2008

Today we celebrate "Easter". "Holy week" has passed, and for most of my countrymen it was a time of making "sacrifices".

Today I read Psalm 51.

Psalm 51:16-17 (New King James Version)

16 For You do not desire sacrifice, or else I would give it;
You do not delight in burnt offering.
17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit,
A broken and a contrite heart—
These, O God, You will not despise.
